I have a small library and am always interested in acquiring new dvd’s. I find that I get bored really easily, so the more choice I have, the more apt I am to stick to my routine. So what are your faves, and why?

Oh, mine is currently the 10 Minute Solution Fitness Ball Workouts.

Question by : What is the next big thing in exercise DVD’s?

Here in New Zealand – Zumba is everywhere and it is great fun. What new work-out is sweeping the world on your corner that I could try?

Well, people I know are all starting to buy an elliptical machine. I bought one last year and lost 56lbs, and now everyone else know is attempting it too.
But funnily enough, Zumba is quite popular down here too (London)
A wife of one of my friends keeps going down to those classes every week, and she’s been losing weight.

Fitness DVD’s are dying out though!
I’ve noticed that more people are jogging along the road – even 60 year old women and teenagers! Something must be working right? Perhaps the price of DVD players has gone up?

no, you will get used to it in about two weeks. You should change into something new every two weeks, then you will see the results. And you should up the intensity: repeating the same easy exercise many times over will not help a bit, there will be no changes. Either control it yourself, or get a series of DVDs with increased intensity and diversity.
